Sunderland v Coventry City Live Stream, Black Cats to tame Robbins less Sky Blues

Sunderland’s impressive start to the season continues, and Regis Le Bris’ side will look to capitalize on home advantage against a Coventry team that made headlines by parting ways with long-serving manager Mark Robins earlier this week.

The Black Cats boast the joint-best home record in the league, with five wins and one draw from their first six matches at the Stadium of Light.

Coventry sit 17th in the table, level on points with Plymouth, who occupy the final relegation spot.

How to watch Sunderland Coventry on TV

The match will be live streaming on Sky Sports+, which has live feeds of all the Championship games on TV.

The Sky Blues have struggled away from home, winning just one of their last six road games.

Sunderland will be missing Jobe Bellingham, who is suspended after receiving a straight red card in the goalless draw against QPR last weekend.

He joins injured goalkeeper Anthony Patterson on the sidelines, while Daniel Ballard, Ian Poveda, and Ajibola Alese are also doubtful.

Coventry’s interim manager Rhys Carr will be without key striker Ellis Simms due to injury.

Jake Bidwell and Jamie Allen are also expected to miss out as they recover from knee and leg injuries. Victor Torp and Jay Dasilva, both substitutes in the 2-1 defeat to Derby, are pushing for starting roles in this fixture.

Sunderland are unbeaten in their last seven games, and only West Brom have conceded fewer goals at home than the Black Cats (2).

Sunderland have scored exactly twice in each of their last three home fixtures.

Coventry are unbeaten in their last four visits to the Stadium of Light and have lost just one of their previous four league matches.

Haji Wright (6) and Ellis Simms (2) are the only Coventry players with more than one goal in the Championship this season.
