Swansea City scoring record – goals hard to come by
In the English Football League (EFL), no group of fans has seen fewer league goals this season than the dedicated supporters of Swansea City.
It’s not all bad news for the Swans. Luke Williams’ squad has demonstrated a resilience reminiscent of their 2020-21 campaign under Steve Cooper, when they reached the Championship play-off final.
While Swansea’s defensive strength has been a positive takeaway, their lack of firepower up front remains a significant concern.
The recent goalless draw against Coventry City extended Swansea’s goalless run to over seven hours of Championship action—a troubling statistic for any team with aspirations for success.
The last time Swansea scored was when Ben Cabango found the net against Bristol City.
With only eight goals scored in the league this season, their attacking struggles contrast their solid defensive record, having conceded just seven goals in eleven matches.
While this defensive stability is commendable, Williams and his squad face a challenging winter ahead unless they can find a way to become more clinical in front of goal.
