Tottenham have made a strong start to their Europa League campaign, securing a 3-0 home victory over Qarabag and a 2-1 away win against Hungarian champions Ferencváros.

Spurs now face their toughest challenge yet, hosting Dutch side AZ Alkmaar at home.

The match between Tottenham and AZ Alkmaar will take place on Thursday, 24 October, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 (BST). It will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1.

Under Ange Postecoglou, Spurs have gained a reputation for their attacking prowess, currently averaging 2.25 goals per game in the Premier League, the second-highest in the division.

Their offensive mindset comes with defensive struggles at the back.

Across all competitions, Postecoglou’s side has conceded in eight of their 11 matches, with clean sheets only against a struggling Everton side, a 10-man Manchester United, and Qarabag, who registered 2.19 xG.

AZ Alkmaar, currently fifth in a competitive Eredivisie, pose a significant challenge. Only PSV and Feyenoord have scored more goals than Maarten Martens’ team, who have netted 18 times this season.
