At 37 years old, Messi continues to achieve milestones with Miami.
The most recent is winning the MLS Supporter’s Shield, awarded to the team that earns the most points during the regular MLS season.
This marks his 46th title in a collection that also includes 1 World Cup, 2 Copa América titles, 1 Finalissima, 1 Olympic Gold, 1 Under-20 World Cup, 4 Champions League titles, 7 Copa del Rey trophies, 10 league titles, 3 Club World Cups, 8 Spanish Super Cups, 3 UEFA Super Cups, 2 Ligue 1 titles, 1 Trophée des Champions, and 1 Leagues Cup.
In total, Messi has accumulated 56 individual honors, and when combined with his club titles, he surpasses 100 awards (102). The next addition will be the MARCA America Award, which he will receive surrounded by family, teammates, athletes, and various dignitaries. He will collect a special trophy created specifically for this occasion from MARCA’s director, Juan Ignacio Gallardo.
The event will be streamed live across all MARCA platforms, beginning half an hour before the official start time.
There will be a pre-event program from the red carpet, featuring all the key figures of this special day, where MARCA will pay tribute to the greatest player of all time: Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccittini.
